We have given our packaging a fresh new look, but rest assured your product is still the same great Carefree® you know and love!

Packaging may vary for online orders until we run out of inventory on our current packs. Please note, whatever packaging you receive, you will be receiving the same Carefree® liners product. Both packaging variations contain Carefree® liners that do not expire as long as wrappers are still sealed.

We have dropped the name “Acti-Fresh,” but all of our products in our newly designed packaging are still the same Acti-Fresh® product you know and love. It is only the name and packaging that have changed. Our main product line is now referred to as “Carefree® Liners.”

All Carefree® and Stayfree® products are made in the US, at our manufacturing facility in Dover, Delaware.

No. Carefree® liners and Stayfree® pads can be used any time, as long as the wrapper is still sealed.

All Carefree® liners and Stayfree® pads provide trusted multi-fluid protection against period flow, bladder leaks, and moisture.

• Carefree® liners are great for light period days, light bladder leaks, everyday freshness and moisture
• Stayfree® pads are great for medium to heavy period days, bladder leaks and moisture

Carefree® liners and Stayfree® pads are not designed to be heavily fragranced, they contain an odor neutralizer.

Unscented generally means that the product may contain ingredients that neutralize or mask the odors of other ingredients. Fragrance-free means that fragrance materials or masking scents are not used in the product.

No. Because used liners and pads have been in contact with blood, conventional recycling streams cannot process them because they are considered a biohazard. This applies to all period products and brands, no matter what they are made of.

You can, however, recycle the cardboard box or film bag outer packaging. Please see the How2Recycle instructions on the bottom of your Carefree® or Stayfree® package.

No. In order for products to be biodegradable, they would need to completely biodegrade within one year after customary disposal. Customary disposal for pads and liners is in the trash, which then gets sent to landfills. Items destined for landfills will not degrade within a year due to the conditions of the landfill. As a result, even if a material would otherwise decompose in natural conditions, we unfortunately cannot claim the product is biodegradable.

No, production of the absorbent materials in Carefree®and Stayfree®products involves only elemental chlorine-free purification processing.
